We live in FL.You'd think we could home farm all year. We tried but what the torrential rains, heat, & occasional hurricane didn't destroy, bugs, squirrels, birds,&plant illnesses DID and we're not willing to use chemicals so we gave up. Never had trouble growing produce in New England when we lived there despite the short growing season.
